Arthur "Artie" was always funny and whitty.
I didn't know until the 25th reunion, that he co-founded Boston Chicken.
He did recognize me at the reunion, we laughed and talked a while.

He used to sit besides me in typing class (can't remember if it were Mrs. Selzer or Mr. Erelli).
Artie hated typing class.  For him, it was like serving time.

Funny how the typing assignments on his sheet didn't resemble what we were dictated.
His somehow were laced with some bad words (can't put them online).

That humor kept us laughing all through the school year.

In particular I remember asking just before Thanksgiving if his family did Turkey for Thanksgiving.
"No, but my family has a great recipe for Chicken".

I guess that's what they used and became successful.

Artie, I miss ya.

Arthur co-founded Boston Chicken with his friend Steven Kolow in 1984.
He was heralded as the most successful member of our class at the 25th High School Reunion in Newton, back in 2001.

Sadly Arthur passed away in 2009.
