I loved Brett. He, Richard Chasdi and myself were best friends when we attended Driscoll. Who else knew Brett?
He sat in front of me in homeroom for 4 years. A really nice guy - always a kind word for everyone.
I had forgotten that we were in the same homeroom with Brett.
Four years with Ms. Shopshire.
I was saddened to hear about Brett's passing.
I was told about his passing by Arthur Cores, who has also now passed away.
Sadly, we are starting to see more numbers in this section of our alumnae page.
My homeroom as well (Akers 142?). Brett was a sweet, quiet kid at a time when, it seemed to me, some personal things just weren't talked about. I think if he were in HS or college today he probably would have had an easier time of it. Society has changed for the better, at least to some degree. Sadly though, not in time for Brett. RIP.
